I am so extremely grateful to be a missionary!

I am so extremely grateful to be a missionary. There is nothing like this. I would try to explain it but I can't. You just have to go. There is nothing better than having the time to focus completely on Jesus every day. 

This week was pretty smooth. Our friend Noah is getting baptized on March 19th!!!! And all because his member friend asked him if he would be interested in hearing about the gospel. The member was sure that he would say no, but he said YES. Please invite everyone you know to church. You will never know if they'll say yes until you find out! By asking. So do it. 

Our friend Ali. Oh my, she has been through it. This is the girl from last week that we randomly called on accident and she had just been searching in google "churches near me." So we have called her a few times since then. 1st call, we find out her boyfriend is a lying lying cheater bad guy but she has nowhere else to go. 2nd call, she got in a car accident, 3rd call her cat (her only friend) ran away. She said she wandered around all day crying and looking for her cat. She saw paw prints leading up to an abandoned house and followed them. Behind the house, there was a little boy holding a black cat and he tried to help her but he couldn't. "I'm not even sure that boy was real," she said. Haha. Anyways. The last time we talked to her we taught her how to formally pray and she was kinda like ya ya whatever God always hears my type of prayers. But!!! When her cat was long gone, she remembered our lesson, and she really truly knelt down and prayed. A little while later she checked for her cat outside. Not there. Then she had the thought "clear as day" *Check again* She was like no way I JUST looked. *Check again* so she checked. And guess what. "Meow."

Ladies and Gentlemen God hears you no matter what, but sincere prayers are important. God commands respect and when you have the faith to give it to him he will bless you.

2 Nephi 2:2

"Thou knowest the greatness of God; and he shall consecrate thine afflictions for thy gain."

I KNOW THAT IS TRUE

I love you all so much. Please please pray and read your scriptures and go to church. I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

We have to make our own Mexican food because the Mexican food in New York is just bad so bad

We Actually Found People

  Hello!  This week was actually fantastic.  For the last three weeks, it was a STRUGGLE to find any living soul on the face of planet earth. Let alone a young single adult specifically interested in hearing a message about Jesus Christ. But the colleges are back in session, and we can't help but find at least 7 elect people every single day. Ok, some don't answer us ever, but like half of them do! One of them even came to church on Sunday! We actually had 4 of our friends at church on Sunday!!!  In other news. I'm not going to say I'm having companion problems. More just companion irritation. But I have come to the conclusion that it is good for me. Bring it on. I do love her. Haha.  Sometime earlier this week. Tuesday, I believe. I was feeling so completely lost in this area.
